They sound the same but she's talking about his cradle, as we see in the following lines.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974072367409154571.post-78700753767146784182011-06-07T20:42:25.951-07:002011-06-07T20:42:25.951-07:00Absolutely - I saw the twist with River coming a m...Absolutely - I saw the twist with River coming a mile away. A friend of mine, who hasn't watched the episode yet, guessed it as well. I really do hope, though, that Moffat realizes the potential of Vastra and Jenny as recurring characters. I'd hate to see such an interesting pair go to waste (or, worse, die off like Strax).Craiginationhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09578501355513151262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974072367409154571.post-57603401752462895032011-06-07T17:35:52.008-07:002011-06-07T17:35:52.008-07:00This was definitely a good episode...for the begin...This was definitely a good episode...for the beginning and middle, at least. It's been my friend's and my opinion that Moffat built the story up so BEAUTIFULLY during the middle, with fantastic baddie returns (as goodies, which was refreshing) and gasp-worthy moments. We both adored Madame Vastra and Jenny, and the moment when the Strax said to Rory, "I'm a nurse."-Rory's silence said it all. I really like how Rory has developed, he used to be so awkward and confused with all of the spacey-wacey stuff, but now he feels like he's just one more spaceman on the job.
What we don't like, however, was River's identity. The nomenclature of 'Melody Pond' seemed FAR too forced, and the idea was very common within the fanbase. Moffat and the cast promised a 'shocker', but what we received was a story arc wrapped up in far too perfect a bow (or a bow tie, as it were). All in all, River's identity might have appeased an easily-confused, casual viewer, but not a fan prepared for a ferocious Moffat twist.BellalyseWinchesterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15404042302816759971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974072367409154571.post-1279482109624384322011-05-01T21:55:41.190-07:002011-05-01T21:55:41.190-07:00I totally agree about Matt Smith. He's definitely the Doctor now, and has really brought some great subtly to the role, which I think is why so many people liked Tennant so much.

The part that totally blew my mind is Amy finding the photo of her holding a baby in the little girl's room. It definitely is shaping up to be the kind of season where you're really going to have no idea what's happening until probably the last 15 minutes of the finale.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7974072367409154571.post-19436901411920819772010-12-16T19:43:30.960-08:002010-12-16T19:43:30.960-08:00Hahaha - I didn't even know anyone commented o...Hahaha - I didn't even know anyone commented on this at all! I'm usually up late, drinking at home with friends. It's quieter and cheaper the company and beer are much better and my bed is ten feet away.

The only thing worse than going to bars surely must be working at one.

Also, I think we should open a bar that doesn't suck, since that's obviously a niche that has not been filled.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
